Quality Management
A Fundamental Practice at the Munich Airport Clinic
Patient Safety, Hygiene & Infection Prevention
At the Munich Airport Clinic, quality management is highly valued and executed with dedication. We do not perceive it merely as the ability to showcase good statistics, but rather as a distinct management task reflecting our commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
To achieve this, we continuously assess, evaluate, and enhance the quality of treatment at the Munich Airport Clinic, focusing on patient safety, hygiene, and infection prevention. In regular case conferences, we collaborate with colleagues from various medical departments and the management team to evaluate the quality of medical treatment across disciplines.
Additionally, the Hygiene Commission ensures continuous adherence to all hygiene standards through training and further education. Comprising a hospital hygienist, an external hygiene specialist supported by the medical director, as well as designated hygiene physicians and nurses, it complies with the staffing requirements outlined in the Bavarian Hygiene Regulation.
Quality amenities that ensure a comfortable stay
The Munich Airport Clinic comprises 17 beds, including eight in two-bed rooms with private ensuite bathrooms reserved for publicly insured patients. Additionally, nine single rooms are designated for privately insured patients.
Our clinic facilities are barrier-free and wheelchair accessible. As a patient at the Munich Airport Clinic, you will have access to free telephone, TV, Wi-Fi, and room safe use during your stay.
Medical Device Safety and Hygiene Management
Ensuring patient safety remains our utmost priority, a commitment we uphold daily. Should you have any inquiries pertaining to this matter, please feel free to reach out to our medical device officer, Mr. Gabler, or our hygiene officer, Dr. Röhrich.
