At the Emergency Department of the Munich Airport Clinic, our experienced team provides initial medical care to passengers, visitors, and employees at Munich Airport—around the clock, every day of the year. Each year, we treat over 10,000 patients. In addition to handling emergencies, our department also offers medical consultations for travel and vaccinations.
Responsibilities of the emergency department:
- First aid treatments at the airport campus
- Primary emergency care for workplace accidents at the airport campus
- Travel medicine consultations
- Vaccination services, including a yellow fever vaccination center
- Medical support for events at the airport campus
- Private medical care services
- Collaboration with public health authorities and the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food
- Safety Task Force on Infectiology
- Internal and external training and continuing education
- Emergency planning and disaster medicine tasks
